I confess…
Thank you to everyone who to helped me to stay awake during last weekend of all nighters @ work. I had heaps of fun, and got to know so many of you a little better and meet some knew people too!
My lie was;
A) I once lost my bikini top when diving into the pool from a platform. I had my chest pressed against the side of the pool for 20 minutes waiting for my sister to get back from the toilet.
I’d never be caught in a Bikini, I’m not fond of wearing very revealing swim suits in public.
I also have stretch marks on my stomach and I feel insecure about them sometimes.
Out of the choices everyone had, there were 103 votes (at the time of this post)

B) When I was 5, a boy hit me in the back of my head with an axe for taking passion fruit off the vine in his driveway.

C) I almost drowned when my head got stuck in the sand while I was trying to do a somersault under the water.
An axe?! Holy crap!! Was the passion fruit worth it, at least?!
Honestly, I have absolutely no idea!! I don’t imagine I ate whatever I took that time around at least – blood being everywhere and all.. lol
So, wow, you really got hit in the back of the head with an axe? By a boy of what age now??!
I did.. lol.. I think he was about 9 or 10 maybe?
Wow, we’re like twins we have so much in common! I refuse to wear a bikini out in public too!
I knew the kid with the axe had to be true, I sometimes think kids are borderline psychotic, at the very least completely impulsive with no thought for consequence.
And it looks like you do have some crazy-ass sand down there. You should come to New Hampshire some time, I guarantee you 100% that there is no head sucking sand to be found.
*does it make me a bad person that, with the exception of the whole almost drowning part, the vision of you with your head stuck in the sand gives me the giggles?* 😛
It was at Glenelg Beach, Adelaide, SA. Down from where Magic Mountain was.
I saw some teenage girls doing somersaults in the water. I wanted try, but I was nervous. I think I was about 9. I decided to do it in the shallow area the water was just past my knees.
I was thinking that would be best. Safest yanno. *blank stares*
What an idiot.
I almost drowned that day.
I for one am glad you didn’t.
That makes 2 of us… Lol
LOL. I’m upset that I missed this! But that’s so funny.
Well, I’m glad your brains stayed intact after that boy tried to hit you. 😉
Lol, thanks for dropping by. I’m with you on the brains staying intact. He cut the back of my head open and I had staples, though other than that, no residing effects…. I think…. Lol
Oh wow… Did the boy get in trouble?
Honestly, I don’t recall. My mother has since died, so all of my questions I have about those early years, I’ve no real way to find out.
Aye, that’s a shame. Well, for the happiness of all mankind, let’s assumed that he was so ashamed of what he did, he grew up to be a surgeon in honor of the girl he almost killed with an ax. 🙂
Yes, that’s a nicer consideration, than that he grew up to be serial killer because he already displayed very violent tendencies as a youn boy
Of course. 😀

Huzzah for me getting it right after you told me what t was 😉
Lol Justin. :p Slow morning at work?
I think it’s time for revenge on that boy…
LOL, I don’t even know who he is! (or where he is for that matter)

I was right, woo hoo I was right. (Pecora Nera runs around in circles patting himself on the back) Next quiz please…..
*watches you racing around in circles and closes my eyes so I don’t get too dizzy*
LOL… you WERE right. I was going to acknowledged the ones who got it right by linking back to blogs (there were only 7 of you that revealed yourselves) though I started thinking that might leave others feeling left out and there were so many great things shared because of peoples contributions to the blog.
I couldn’t do it… lol
Anywho.. (longwinded n stuffs)
Next weekend.. I mean.. this weekend.. Friday and Saturday evenings.
I’ll post something on Friday and wait till it has 100 votes again, and do a reveal on the following monday!
Thanks for joining in 🙂

It was fun 🙂
Great result Miss Lou, lovely to know you are so modest. It was an enjoyable experience and look where it took me, so my thanks to you as well.
Modest yes, mostly, though also self conscious too.
I really enjoyed your stories about your time in Gaol, Michael. Would you mind if I posted the links in here?
No go for your life, I would be flattered that you did. Thank you.
One of the wonderful things to come out of the Liar Liar Pants on Fire was the opportunity for me to learn about the experiences of so many other people. (Which I LOVE to do)….

Yay! I was right! When is your next all nighter?
Yes you were!! lol.. Next weekend!!.
I’m supervising this dispatch shift because one of my besties, Nelly is away in Nashville. I know she is gone for at least 11 more weeks, perhaps longer if her Visa is approved (she was married just over a year ago and her husband lives over there)
So I’m going to have to come up with lots more creative, interactive ways to keep awake.. lol
